The Mahaparinirvana is a 20 minutes long film based on the last moments of Gautam Buddha shot in Kasya where Buddha breathed his last. the film covers the popular story about the last moments of Gautam Buddha relating to the Historical value and history of Kasya town in the district of kushinagar in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India this film was Produced and telecasted on the National network of Doordarshan India in 1998 (the government owned television network) and Dubbed version in nepali on Nepal TV(the government owned tv network of Nepal)in 1997 credits: Produced by Rajeev srivastava Executive Producer Vivek Raj Anand Written Directed and by Rajesh srivastava Camera Anil tiwari Post production supervision and voice over by Mike Pandey(three times winner of Green Oscar) Edited by Revankar (national award winner)
