Submission notes: sources, COI disclosure, and reviewer requests
Conflict of interest disclosure
Per WP:COI, I am disclosing that I have direct financial affiliation with Practical DevSecOps or HYSN Technologies Inc. I have endeavored to write in a neutral, encyclopedic tone and welcome any edits to address residual bias.
Source transparency
I have audited citations against WP:NCORP and note the following:
- TechTarget SearchSecurity (2025) — Independent editorial; lists CDP alongside other certifications. Strongest qualifying independent source currently available.
- Black Hat USA 2018 — Conference listing for the founder's training course. Establishes organizational credibility.
- Hack In The Box (HITB) SecTrain — Independent conference listing confirming founder's standing in the security community.
- NICCS / CISA catalog — U.S. government directory listing. Cited for factual accuracy, not notability.
- Practical DevSecOps official website — Primary source used only for exam and course details.
An extensive search of Dark Reading, SecurityWeek, SC Magazine, CSO Online, Help Net Security, Infosecurity Magazine, and Forbes found no current coverage of this specific certification. I acknowledge the article may not yet fully satisfy WP:NCORP.
Request to reviewers
If declined, I respectfully request:
- Specific guidance on which WP:NCORP criterion is unmet
- Suggestions for what sourcing threshold would be sufficient for approval
I will continue seeking independent press coverage and update the article accordingly. AdityaaPatni (talk) 04:45, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
