I have substantially restructured this draft to address the concerns raised in the 22 March 2026 decline by Pythoncoder.

Notability is now argued primarily under WP:NAUTHOR rather than the general WP:NBIO grounds the previous version emphasised. The subject's principal claim to notability is as an author of cybersecurity textbooks, several of which have been the subject of independent third-party reviews:

• Help Net Security (April 2020) — a full review of Cybersecurity – Attack and Defense Strategies by Helga Labus.
• Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Canon Candidate review (October 2018) — of Learn Social Engineering, written by Ann Johnson, then leader of Microsoft's Cybersecurity Solutions Group.
• ManageEngine — bylined review of Cybersecurity: The Beginner's Guide.

Google Scholar lists an h-index of 9 and over 600 total citations, with Cybersecurity – Attack and Defense Strategies alone cited more than 220 times. The book has been translated into Korean, Russian, Polish, Turkish and Chinese, and is used as a course text at Charles Sturt University.

Turkish national press coverage has been added as supporting material. Milliyet (original Ankara-bureau reporting, not wire) reported on the subject's August 2018 presentation to Turkish ambassadors at the Foreign Ministry's "Security Day," alongside the Defence Minister, Interior Minister, and Chief of the General Staff. Hürriyet carried DHA wire coverage of conference appearances at Istanbul Gelişim University in 2017 and 2018, and Habertürk/DHA covered his November 2025 keynote at the Tourism Technologies Summit. Where coverage is wire-syndicated this is noted in the citations rather than padded as separate sources, and where the subject is named only briefly within an event-coverage piece (e.g., Milliyet), the source is used in support of a specific factual claim rather than as a feature profile.

Sources removed from the previous version include the subject's own website, interviews (per Pythoncoder's note), bylined-author profile pages on ISMG family sites (BankInfoSecurity etc.), conference speaker bios, and trade-press pieces in which the subject is the contributor rather than the subject of coverage.

Conflict of interest disclosure: I am editing on behalf of the subject. I have aimed to source claims independently, demote sources connected to the subject (employer pages, award-body pages, the subject's own site) to supporting roles for non-notability factual claims only, and flag wire syndication and short-mention sources honestly rather than overstating them.
