I've done a substantial revision of this draft since it was declined in June. The article is now organised around the main points of notability that are directly supported by sources: Abdus Sattar Sait's election to the Central Legislative Assembly, his role in the All-India Muslim League and the Lahore Resolution Special Working Committee, his election as Chief Whip of the Muslim League Party in the Central Legislature in 1947, and his diplomatic service for Pakistan after partition.

I went back through the cited sources and tightened the prose so that each claim is specific and traceable to a citation. Alongside the secondary literature, I worked through primary and archival material including the Jinnah Papers, the UN Treaty Series, Ceylon Ministry of External Affairs directories, the Constituent Assembly debates record, the National Archives of Pakistan correspondence catalogue, and Abdus Sattar Sait's own 1936 presidential address at the Kanara Muslim Conference. Where I found stronger sources, I swapped them in.

The main things I changed:

• restructured the lead to open with his principal offices and historical roles rather than a list of name variants;
• moved the name variants into a footnote;
• added specific sourced detail on the 1934 election, the 1936 Kanara Muslim Conference address, and the 1936 Kerala Muslim League committee formation;
• rewrote the Jinnah correspondence passage to give specific dated facts rather than a general characterisation;
• strengthened or added citations for the 1941 Madras session, 1943 Central Committee of Action, 1947 Chief Whip election, and the post-partition diplomatic postings;
• cut essay-like phrasing and evaluative language throughout.
