I have drafted an entry for Mycosophy and would like some advice on how to submit it for review as the next step to allow it to be accepted. (Dr. Christian v.T. Taylor (talk) 14:42, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Dr. Christian v.T. Taylor - In direct answer to your question - right on your sandbox page, at the top, there is a button to click to submit for review. (You removed it. Please leave the template in place. If accepted, it will be published without the template.)
- However, in a quick glance at your draft I can tell that it will not be accepted and will need some revisions. Please review the note left on your talk page - User talk:Dr. Christian v.T. Taylor - on your first article. Follow the links, especially on synthesis, citation/references, and formatting. — ERcheck (talk) 22:06, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- Additional words of caution: Declaring that you are here to promote an idea, especially with a link to a class you are teaching on the topic goes against Wikipedia's policies against promotion. Please reflect if you are really here here to build an encyclopedia versus promote your ideas. — ERcheck (talk) 22:11, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for your very helpful advice. Sorry for being such a novice. This is my first foray into creating a new article. I have removed all promotion from my user page and I have re-drafted the mycosophy sandbox draft article so that it is more an encyclopedic entry with references to independent sources. I think it is better now although I still need to work on the formatting - especially the references. Dr. Christian v.T. Taylor (talk) 22:18, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Dr. Christian v.T. Taylor - You seem to have issues with the Reference section. Take a look at Wikipedia's guide on citing sources. — ERcheck (talk) 23:10, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you - will do :O ) Dr. Christian v.T. Taylor (talk) 00:32, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
