F4 Middle East Championship
Single-Seater Racing Championship

The F4 Middle East Championship was an FIA-certified Formula 4 racing series, held only in 2025. Previously known as Formula 4 UAE Championship, the series was renamed by its promoters (Top Speed China) as it expanded the calendar by adding races outside the United Arab Emirates.[1]

History
Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched Formula 4 in March 2013.[2] The goal of the Formula 4 was to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are also regulated. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30,000 and a single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000.
The first season of the Formula 4 UAE Championship was held between 2016 and 2017, and continued every year until its last season in 2024.[1] Formula 4 UAE's trophy round was expanded into a separate entity as Formula Trophy UAE, with the 2024 Formula Trophy UAE occurring in November and December.[3] Meanwhile, the main series was expanded and renamed to F4 Middle East, due to rounds taking place outside of just the UAE.[1]
For the inaugural 2025 season, there were five rounds that took place at three different circuits: Yas Marina Circuit, the Dubai Autodrome, and the Lusail International Circuit. All rounds were hosted in support of the 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship.[4] Emanuele Olivieri won the drivers' championship, while R-ace GP won the teams' championship.[5]
Format
The race weekends consist of two qualifying sessions, which will determine the grids for races one and three. The grid for race two is set by reversing the top 10 from race one's results.[4]

The car used in this series is the Tatuus F4-T421 powered by an Abarth engine.[6]
