From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
FCE-24379 is a potent serotonin receptor antagonist related to the ergolines.[1] It antagonizes vascular serotonin receptors, which may correspond to the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor.[1] The drug is inactive against adrenergic receptors including the α1-, α2-, β1-, and β2-adrenergic receptors.[1] It produces hypotension in rodents.[1] FCE-24379 was first described in the scientific literature by 1988.[1]
