This is an uncolored and scriptless page from the original storyline of New Mutants (2nd series) of issues 8 and 9 wherein Anole comes out to his parents only to be rejected and eventually commit suicide. Due to its controversial nature, the storyline was scrapped and rewritten, omitting several pages of material that had already been drawn and ready for print. The image depicts Anole coming out to his parents and being rejected by them. |
