Rationale for fair use in article Tenacious D (album)
This picture is being used in Wikipedia's article for the album "Tenacious D (album)". Although it is subject to copyright, the D editors of Wikipedia, among them myself (Tenacious D Fans) in particular, feel that it is covered by US fair use laws because:
- It is a small part of the audio file, with under 30 seconds of it.
- It is used here for purely encyclopedic and informational purposes.
- It does not harm the copyright owner commercially.
Further, we believe this image is important to the list because:
- It contributes significantly to the article by showing one of Tenacious D's most well known tracks, which is being discussed inside the article as well.
