This image is used to designate a featured article on Wikipedia. If it appears in the upper right corner of an article, it indicates that the article successfully passed Wikipedia:Featured article candidates. If the image appears in the left-hand column next to a foreign language, it indicates that the corresponding article in that language has passed that Wikipedia's equivalent of "featured article".
If its license requires the preservation of attribution or revision history, the raster version of this image should not be deleted, in order to maintain this information. For more information, see the documentation on MediaWiki's support of SVG images.
