Indonesia Soccer Championship A, also known as Torabika Soccer Championship presented by IM3 Ooredoo for sponsorship reasons,[2] was a football competition that replaced the temporarily-suspended Indonesia Super League.[3]

This football competition was considered as unofficial, but the official I-League website has added this edition as the predecessor of current Indonesia top flight league Super League.[4]

Persipura won the title on the final matchday.[1]

Teams

Eighteen teams competed in this tournament – all teams from the abandoned 2015 Indonesia Super League.[5]

Name changes

Notes:

  1. Arema Cronus held several of their home matches at Gajayana.
  2. Madura United held several of their home matches at Gelora Ratu Pamelingan.
  3. Persib held their home matches at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api starting from week 7 because Si Jalak Harupat was renovated for 2016 Indonesian National Games (PON XIX).[10] But they back again to Si Jalak Harupat since week 28 as 2016 Indonesian National Games (PON XIX) have ended.[11]
  4. Persija used Manahan as their home ground since week 12 because Gelora Bung Karno was renovated for 2018 Asian Games.[12][13]
  5. PS TNI held their first two home matches at Siliwangi before they moved to Pakansari.[14]
