Ismail Khaniev (Russian: Исмаил Ханиев; born 2006) is a Russian freestyle wrestler. He won the gold medal in the 74 kg event at the 2025 U20 World Wrestling Championships.[1]

Khaniev represents the UOR Khasavyurt wrestling school and trains under coach Zelimkhan Guseinov.[2]

In March 2025 he won the gold medal at the 2025 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Tirana in the men's freestyle 74 kg category.[3] He also earned a bronze medal at the 2025 European U20 Wrestling Championships.[4] In August 2025 he won the gold medal at the 2025 U20 World Wrestling Championships in Bulgaria. In the final he defeated Kyrgyz wrestler Adilet Akylbekov by technical superiority (11–0).[5]

He won the gold medal by defeating Azerbaijan's Sabuhi Amiraslanov in the final match at the 2026 European U23 Wrestling Championships held in Zrenjanin, Serbia.[6]
