Joana Maria Jaciara da Silva Neves Euzébio (14 February 1987 – 18 March 2024) was a Brazilian Paralympic swimmer.[1][2] She won five paralympic medals.

Life
Neves was born in Rio Grande do Norte in 1987. She competing as a teenager and by the age of fourteen she was in international competitions.[3]
She competed at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Paralympics and won two silver and three bronze medals.[4] In 2015, she became the first Brazilian woman to win an individual gold medal at the IPC World Championships, which she accomplished in the 50 m freestyle.[5][6]
