Ossian: American Boy, Tibetan Monk	September 4, 1990	Thomas R. Anderson	Ossian Maclise has spent his life in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery since age four. Remarkably, at seven, his monastic community identified him as a tulku, signifying his status as the reincarnation of a revered Tibetan lama.^[14]
