The Married Women's Property Act 1884 (47 & 48 Vict. c. 14) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The act relates solely to the giving of evidence in criminal matters, by husband and wife.[1]

The whole act was repealed for England and Wales and Scotland by section 33(3) of, and part II of schedule 3 to, the Theft Act 1968 (c. 60), subject to section 35(3), which came into force on 1 January 1969.[2]

The whole act was repealed, as to the Republic of Ireland, by section 19 of, and the Schedule to, the Married Women's Status Act, 1957.
