Brigade general Mindaugas Steponavičius (Lithuanian: [/mɪnˈdɑʊɡɐs ˈstɛpɔːnɑːvɪtʃʊs/]; born 12 August 1974) is a Lithuanian military officer who has been serving as the Chief of the Defence Staff of Lithuania since 25 September 2020.[1]
In 1999, he graduated from the General Jonas Žemaitis Lithuanian Military Academy, and later attended the Baltic Defence College in Tartu, followed by the United States Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
