Modrý or Modry (pronounced [ˈmodriː]; feminine form Modrá [ˈmodraː]) is a Czech and Slovak surname. It is derived from the Czech–Slovak word modrý for "blue", originally probably a nickname for a "blue eyed" person. People with the name include:
