Montmélian (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃meljɑ̃] ⓘ; Savoyard: Monmélyan)[3] is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. Montmélian station has rail connections to Grenoble, Modane, Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Chambéry.
