The David Coles AM Stakes, registered as the National Stakes is a South Australian Jockey Club Group 3 Thoroughbred horse race for horses aged two years old, at set weights with penalties, over a distance of 1200 metres, held annually at Morphettville Racecourse in Adelaide, Australia during the Autumn Carnival.[1]

The race is named after David Coles, long-time horse auctioneer in South Australia and head of the bloodstock sales company Coles Brothers. Coles was also a Chairman and Life Member of the South Australian Jockey Club.[2][3]
From 2014 to 2019 Morphettville also hosted a Group 3 race known as the David R Coles AM Spring Stakes in August, that race is now known as the Behemoth Stakes.[4]
