Nike (Thrace)

Nike or Nice (Ancient Greek: Νίκη), or Nicaea or Nikaia (Νίκαια), or Nicae, was a town of Thrace, not far from Adrianople, the scene of the defeat and death of the emperor Valens by the Goths in 378.[1]
