Oberkatz (German pronunciation: [ˈoːbɐkats], lit. 'Upper Katz', in contrast to "Lower Katz") is a village and a former municipality in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district of Thuringia, Germany. Since 1 January 2019, it is part of the town Kaltennordheim.
