History

The Oman Football Association inaugurated its first women's national futsal team in May 2022.[2] This followed the launch of the women's futsal league for the 2019–20 season.[3] Plans to establish a women's national futsal team were announced as early as 2019.[4]

Their first tournament was the 2022 WAFF Women's Futsal Championship.[5][6]
