San José is a municipality in the Escuintla department of Guatemala.[1] The municipal seat is Puerto San José. The municipality also contains Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala's main Pacific Ocean port.[2] In 2018 the municipality had 62,801 inhabitants.[3]
