In Juli 2023 Natasha Lomas reported in Techcrunch, that the Fairphone4 repairable smartphone will be available in the US for the first time in a deGoogled Murena e/OS variant and that it will be "interesting to see how much U.S. interest there is in an iPhone and (Google) Android alternative that packs sustainable and ethical smarts".

• Why it should be changed: The US launch marks a relevant step in the development of the project and the collaboration with Fairphone

Replacing the sentence "As of November 2019 /e/ supported 89 smartphone models." with "As of November 2023 /e/ supported 246 smartphone models."

Today (June 10th) if I go here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki//e/_(operating_system) without being logged into Wikipedia and I look at the "Latest release" field, I can read the value of "2.1[1] / 6 June 2024; 1 day ago" while instead I should read "2.1[1] / 6 June 2024; 4 days ago". If I now log into Wikipedia with my credentials that text changes and the correct value of "2.1[1] / 6 June 2024; 4 days ago" is visualized. Why this discrepancy? Try purging the article when this happens to refresh the date calculation. Wikipedia articles are cached for users who are not logged in, although date templates such as {{Start date and age}} should be automatically updated. — Newslinger talk 03:48, 15 June 2024 (UTC)

Hi Newslinger, based on your suggestion I just purged the article and I noticed that it had a good effect on the wrong counting I detailed (both being logged in and not); I will now wait to see if this solves the issue once and for all; if not, I don't know what else could be done and so I might ask again here if need be. Hi Newslinger (and any other who might help), purging solved the issue for a short while but now it's many days since the "x days ago" is not working, either logged in or not. What could be done to report this so that it reaches someone who might be able to solve this and make it work like it should? Thanks Nedo72 (talk) 15:39, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

This is more of an FYI, but also a suggestion to remove the first / in the article name. It seems to confuse internal linking when referencing this article. I noticed this on draft and talk pages. Here is an example: /e/ OS. Llehsadam (talk) 06:42, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
