Hopkins left Malibu by 2021
I just noticed that this article was never updated to reflect that Hopkins sold his older Malibu and Pacific Palisades residences in 2021, apparently because he had decided to live in another residence in Pacific Palisades. The news was covered at the time by numerous news sources, including Architectural Digest. Coolcaesar (talk) 17:12, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- I think that certainly should be clarified. His name has now just appeared, in various UK news bulletins, as having lost his home in Los Angeles, e.g. BBC and Hello!. Hello says: "
His Pacific Palisades house, purchased in 2021 for $6 million, was meant to be a fresh start. The four-bedroom colonial-style home was a serene retreat, but now only a charred fence remains.

Autism Diagnosis
He says that he has never been diagnosed with autism in a recent interview:

His wife suspects he has a lot of the symptoms but he has never been diagnosed.

The cited article on the Wikipedia page also suggests that only his wife suspects he has Asperger syndrome. He has since clarified that he has never been diagnosed and that only his wife suspects he might have it: https://pagesix.com/2025/11/03/celebrity-news/anthony-hopkins-wife-speculates-actor-might-have-autism-but-he-think-its-all-nonsense/
Therefore the Wikipedia page should be corrected to reflect that.
In his book he says that his wife is probably right about him having Asperger's. By the by, we should mention his book, which has only just come out. Sardaka (talk) 13:28, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- He has never been formally diagnosed. He himself thinks he doesn't have it according to multiple statements. His wife suspects he may have autism due to him being obsessed with details and him not being an outgoing person. The Wikipedia page makes it sound like he has undergone testing and has been formally diagnosed by a mental health professional. At this point all we have is a layperson's opinion based on vague personality traits that by themselve don't mean someone does have autism/Asperger's. ~2025-34114-91 (talk) 20:21, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
Film adaptation of James Herriot's book All Creatures Great and Small (1975)
Hopkins played Siegried Farnon in the film adaptation of James Herriot's book All Creatures Great and Small (1975), starring alongside Simon Ward and Lisa Harrow. ~2026-21645-7 (talk) 02:29, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-21645-7: that film is mentioned in the List of Anthony Hopkins performances article. To be included in this one it should be in the context of sourced commentary about its place in his career, beyond the mere fact that he was in it.—Odysseus1479 04:30, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

Add 'composer' to occupations. He composed a piece of music called 'And the waltz goes on' ~2026-22273-9 (talk) 11:03, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
