Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on May 15, 2019.

Titles.

This section says "not in every day use by their parents" but that's the same with all royal children. Prince William never calls his son "Prince George" in every day conversation. 2A00:23C6:4B42:F301:9DAD:6E7D:7949:6BB (talk) 10:01, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

Exactly , this part should be removed. Plus that it is even unsourced. The Duke and Duchess of sussex never publicly said that they were entitled to call his children w/out their titles.. 196.75.145.115 (talk) 16:33, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
It may seem daft, but this is exactly what the cited source says. It is not unsourced. Other sources say much the same. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 16:43, 21 September 2023 (UTC)

Change references from 'Lilibet' to 'princess Lilibet' 86.88.10.58 (talk) 22:02, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

 Not done: The only reference to 'Lilibet' is in relation to her birth, at which time, she was not styled, nor entitled to use the title, 'Princess Lilibet'. EmilySarah99 (talk) 08:42, 19 January 2024 (UTC)

Photo

Just to explain why I removed the recently added photo;

  • It's an over the shoulder side-view, so not helpful in identifying him.
  • I'm no expert on how 34 month old Prince Archie of Sussex appeared (as was at the time of the photo), but this doesn't seem any aid in identifying him to the reader three years later.
  • It appears to be a candid shot taken without the subject or a responsible adult being aware. Doesn't matter who they are, that doesn't seem to me like something Wikipedia should be publishing of a young child.

I've nominated it for deletion at commons. Celia Homeford (talk) 14:30, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
And just to be clear, I'm not saying it's not him (I've honestly no idea either way). I'm saying it does not serve the purpose of an infobox photo, which is to help identify the subject to the reader. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 14:38, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
It is him at a 4th of July parade in 2022. The copyright status is dubious though. Keivan.fTalk 16:46, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
Good spot. Also note that even the Daily Mail had the good taste to pixelate his face. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 18:55, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
