Other Maiar
Is it not merely suggested that Saruman was sent as Aulë's choice among the Istari? I didn't think it was actually confirmed outright, merely alluded to as a rumor in Unfinished Tales. If so then considering how easily his followers, and many of his wifey's creations, were corrupted by Melkor I think a little internal affairs investigation may be due. --JamesTheNumberless 17:19, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
