  • Article is new enough and long enough. Some WP:DYKCOMPLETE issues are in the article. First, there is no lead section as required by WP:MOS. A lead section with a subheading above the body needs to be created to comply with DYKCOMPLETE. Without it, I would consider the article a stub. Second, "blowwing" is not a word. Even if this were spelled "blowing" that word doesn't make sense in the context of the sentence. It needs rewriting for clarity. The hook is intereting and verifiable to the cited reference. Once the issues raised are fixed I can approve the hook.4meter4 (talk) 21:22, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
    • @4meter4: Thanks for the review. Corrected spelling of "blogging". MOS:NOLEAD states that around 500 words is when an article should be broken out into sections. An article is not considered a stub for DYK purposes if it exceeds 1500 characters and/or 300 words of prose per WP:DYKLEN, this article has 2302 characters and 357 words. Some would state that an article is not a stub if it surpasses 250 words, per WP:STUBDEF. In any case, a stub for DYK purposes is not defined by lack of section headings, and it would be difficult to break this article into sections without exceptionally short top-level headings. Articles in similar situations like Sweet Martha's Cookies and National Association of Priest Pilots (some headings but a shorter article by word count) have ran before. It you have ideas for a breakup I'm open to them, but I think it flows best like this. ~Darth StabroTalk  Contribs 21:33, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
I stand by my comment. It isn't presentable without a lead summarizing the body, and a subheading over the body. I'm not going to tick off the presentability component in its current format. Those other articles that ran in this state did so in error. They should not have been approved. I note that having no lead is a tag-able offense (and tagged articles cannot run on the main page), and MOS:NOLEAD specifically refers to that as an aspect of "stub" articles which brings us back to WP:DYKCOMPLETE. If an editor slaps a tag on the page while its on the main page we would have to pull it. For that reason, it's not complete / presentable without a lead section because this is a foreseeable content problem that could end us up at WP:ERRORS. That is true for all articles. 4meter4 (talk) 21:38, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
I disagree, but I have slightly reorganized the article and addeds some headings. ~Darth StabroTalk  Contribs 22:08, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
Looks good. This hook is ready to roll.4meter4 (talk) 22:45, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
