Unreferenced definitions

@Altenmann You removed a lot of unreferenced definitions, but wouldn't it be better to keep them and instead add one of the sources needed tags? It's not a living person's biography after all.
I don't speak Chinese so I cannot comment on most definitions, but some of the removed ones were commonly used ones even I know of. 8ya (talkcontribs) 09:26, 7 April 2026 (UTC)

The article was tagged since 2020. --Altenmann >talk 15:41, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
I think it would be better for the article to let it stay with the tag, instead of gutting correct, but unreferenced information. If you found some of these to be doubtful it's good to immediately remove them, but unless I am mistaken you also don't speak Chinese. 8ya (talkcontribs) 19:37, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
Sorry, Wikipedia rules disargee. How do you know the information is "correct"? 6 years of inaction is enough. --Altenmann >talk 20:42, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
Because I know some of the slangs and seen their usage. Inaction is preferable to worsening.
Sorry, Wikipedia rules disargee
Unless I am mistaken the rules don't state that you have to remove unreferenced information, unless it's BLP. Editing policy also encourages you to add the references yourself, which seemingly you haven't attempted before deletion. 8ya (talkcontribs) 21:51, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
Although I wonder how much of this article actually belongs onto Wikipedia instead of Wiktionary, since WP:NOTDICT 8ya (talkcontribs) 21:56, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
