Dates inconsistent?
How did it arrive in China 5 years before the ship was even laid down, and 8 years before it was launched?
"Laiyuan was laid down on 1 January 1885, launched on 3 January 1887, completed on 1 January 1888. On arrival in China in 1880, Jingyuan and Laiyuan were both assigned to the Beiyang Fleet." 67.162.242.22 (talk) 23:26, 24 September 2024 (UTC)

The side panel does not mention that these are a class, however on these pages it states they were both in the same class
