clean up
Made some adjustments to text; added founding date to header section, removed the pompous "Illustrious CLAAS Empire" for "CLAAS group" Removed abstract financial year figure as obviously from corporate literature. Adjusted Renault reference as did not read right
Will rewrite main history when find a alternative source and time to read up. BulldozerD11 (talk) 14:38, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Copyright violation?
Some of the images used in this article seem to be glossy brochure images. I doubt they were uploaded by the copyright holder as stated on their image page. They should probably be tagged for potential COPYVIO. 64.0.112.222 (talk) 14:42, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

CLAAS → Claas — Please move the article from ALLCAPS back to its original location following MOS:TM. In this case Claas is an ordinary family name (cf. this list), not an abbreviation or such. If you need comparisons, please see John Deere, Massey Ferguson or many other brands that all derive from common (family) names. They are usually written in ALLCAPS by the manufacturers themselves – but we don't do that here (to assist readability and for some other reasons). Please also note the interwiki section of the article. All other projects follow standard text formatting and capitalization rules. --:bdk: 14:19, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Confused
< They then offered trailed combine harvesters (reaper-binders) to the European market. >
A combine harvester and a reaper-binder are two different things, surely?

Dear all,
I would like to suggest to update the lead section, infobox as well as correct minor errors in the general text. Please note that I have a financial conflict of interest as I am being paid by Claas. I hope that uninvolved editors could review my suggestions and make changes if they find them appropriate.
