Last sentence of section Definitions
I've made some changes to section Definitions which have, I think, improved it. I'm still not happy with it, however. In particular, the initial words "During the history of science and philosophy [...]" strike me as inappropriate, or even as meaningless, but I don't have the courage to delete them. Any suggestions?
