Coinbase employees have reported to be underpaid based on their gender and race. Can we address the pay gap in the complaints section?

Or, before this in the current version: "In May, the company's chief people officer published a blog post announcing that Coinbase was eliminating salary and equity negotiations during recruiting, citing salary disparities with women and minorities. The announcement said that "all employees in the same position, in the same location, receive the same salary and equity offer."

It would be fair to provide context by mentioning the allegations the crypto exchange faced. This New York Times report provides more info. Happydracula (talk) 14:04, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

Requested grammar fix: hyphen

"largest U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange": add hyphen as shown. Otherwise we are just saying it's "based" (and in the US). ~2025-31120-91 (talk) 10:54, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Remove reference to number of users

Coinbase doesn't publicly state the number of users. The cited source doesn't state the number of users either.

The second sentence of the article should state: "Coinbase is the largest U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange as well as the world's biggest bitcoin custodian, as of 2024." ~2026-10896-76 (talk) 16:02, 18 February 2026 (UTC)

Not done: The source says "Founded in 2012, Coinbase recently served more than 108 million customers." That seems sufficient to me to support the claim "Coinbase has over 100 million users." Can you clarify your concern? meamemg (talk) 18:57, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
