Comparison with potting
Both this article and the one on potting say that it is normal to use conformal coating rather than potting, but no reasons are given. I assume that there are still circumstances where potting would be preferred. It would be nice if someone could add a section on the comparative advantages and disadvantages of conformal coating vs. potting. It's not a subject I know about, but it would be a useful addition to the article if there is someone who could do it.. 86.16.3.237 (talk) 18:43, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
Critique on sources used

Too Promotional
The article compares the subject with other methods of coating, which could possibly be promotional. TorlianMapping (talk) 16:26, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
