I've been working through this draft to bring up to standards. @User:Mcastillogarsow has produced the vast majority of the article, and discloses on their user page that they are Melissa Castillo-Garsow (daughter of this article's subject). It looks like in an earlier version of the article draft the user indicated a COI, but I thought this should be expanded on in the Talk Page. To me, the article subject seems sufficiently notable. There are some minor issues with tone/phrasing in the article, but otherwise I don't think @User:Mcastillogarsow has done anything problematic here. With that said, I think it would be best if other users without a direct connection to the article subject could comb through and improve the article to bring it in line with standards as the article is improved.
With @Headbomb I've addressed the referencing issues that @MurielMary raised in their evaluation of the article draft. Now resubmitting. Boredintheevening (talk) 13:36, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
