@ElijahPepe I don't know if I've ever seen citations for a whole article formatted like this with the sfn template, e.g including news sources. Is there a reason to do it this way as opposed to citenews/etc? Placeholderer (talk) 13:32, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's getting messed up when I add citations using the built-in template. 172.56.13.190 (talk) 02:46, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
- {{sfn}} is very useful when most of the citations are to books, but can be used for news articles, etc. as well. However, for this article where most of the references are going to be to online sources I would support converting the references to use {{cite news}} etc inline. In the meantime I've fixed the sfn multiple-target error without changing the existing citation style. Best, Wham2001 (talk) 08:37, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
- Not the first time he's been told to follow a more usable citation format. Will correct. Selbstporträt (talk) 17:36, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- If there aren't any objections, then this should be cleaned up. The sfn format makes it harder for casual readers to see where information comes from, because they would have to hover over the sfn link to see the actual citation. Doesn't seem necessary for an article about Antoni, since there aren't even any books referenced here in the works cited list (just a single publication, and a document). ~2025-36687-44 (talk) 04:08, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, this work has been completed. Inline citations are now used throughout. ~2025-36687-44 (talk) 22:31, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
