Not done. This is just a comment, not a proposal to change anything. And we definitely wouldn't add unsubstantiated puffery such as "deep intellectual and strategic thinking", which sounds like typical AI slop, which isn't permitted. Propose changes in the form "change X to Y" and cite sources supporting your proposal. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 01:10, 7 April 2026 (UTC)

Under Carrier please change Brigadier General to Lieutenant Colonel. His rank is “Sarhang Dovom” as you see on his shoulders. ~2026-21913-76 (talk) 22:28, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
Not done. We go by what the sources say. Do you have a reliable source to support your assertion? The rank on his picture is irrelevant because nobody knows when that picture was taken; it could have been years ago. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 00:02, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

I once again request to change “Brigadier General” to “Lieutenant Colonel”. If you follow his published videos everyday, you’ll see that he has the same uniform and rank as in the picture.
Refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_ranks_of_Iran to see how a Brigadier General’s epaulette looks like and how his rank “Sarhang Dovom Pasdar” lieutenant colonel looks like.
I have served in the IRI Armed Forces, therefore I am aware of his rank.
He is the Speaker of Khatam-al-Anbiya Headquarters. No high-ranking Generals in Iran will have such posts, most definitely not a Brigadier General, who belongs to the top tier commanders.
He is referred to as Sarhang Dovom in Iranian news sources and official websites in Persian language. I dont know who gave the information that he holds a higher rank.
