Why is this a heading? "Decline in vision" is an opinion/nonPOV statement. Who determined it was a Decline in Vision? Sure, some people may have that opinion (and, I hasten to add, just as many people don't), but again...that's opinion, not fact. Maybe that thought would merit being in the text somewhere (properly cited), but not as a section header. Even something like "Decline in Attendance"...with proper citations...would be plausible, that's factual - but saying "Decline in Vision" begs the question "who's vision"? What does "decline" mean? "Decline" implies a critical determination that the original vision was "good", and the current vision (again, who'e vision are we talking about?) is worse. Based on...what? Perhaps a neutral way of phrasing it would be "Change in vision". But again, I would think that would need some concrete documentation (beyond the oped pieces of a couple random columnists). Like a new vision statement from Disney outlining a new direction (which doesn't make it better or worse - from an encyclopedic point of view - just different.) - Although "decline in vision" may be a point of view, not a fact per se, is it not a fact that a large number of people throughout the world expected a radical change in geopolitics.
- The ending of the cold war with the disintegration of the Warsaw Pact Alliance was a fact that caused mass expectation of a new regime between East and West on the western hemisphere.
