- @Arconning: Hello! Thank you for taking this nomination. I will work on your suggestions and the issues you highlighted later this weekend, probably some time tonight (here in Vancouver, at least). Yue🌙 16:34, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Arconning: I have made edits to the article based on your feedback so far. In regard to the symbolism of the white field, I could not find any information online, nor in the prefectural notice that established the flag. Most Japanese prefectures' flags are just their respective prefectural emblems on a solid field, and the symbolism is typically limited to the emblem, with the symbolism of the colour(s) carried over. I doubt the solid white field has any particular meaning I cannot find; it's just a standard design choice of Japanese prefectures. If it did have unique meaning to it, I'm sure the prefectural government would have included it on their online page about Okinawa's prefectural symbols. Other than that, let me know what else needs tweaking. Yue🌙 01:04, 26 May 2025 (UTC)

Prose and MoS
Lead and infobox
- No issues.
Design and symbolism
- "letter "O"", possibly wikilink to O
- Would there be any symbolism for the white field used in the flag, if so this should be included. Nonetheless, information regarding the white field and it's inclusion in the flag should be added if it's devoid of symbolism.
- "The prefectural government noted a number of misuses in the 2010s, with some offenders receiving warnings over designs that resembled or were meant to substitute for the emblem.", from what I've seen in the article, some of the objects that bore designs and were reprimanded could be included to give some context for readers.
History
- "The Empire of Japan transformed its vassal the Ryukyu Kingdom", "The Empire of Japan transformed its vassal, the Ryukyu Kingdom,"
- "resembled the mark of the All Japan Kendo Federation,", the mark of the All Japan Kendo Federation could be included to provide some context for readers.
Media
- All images are on proper licensing and are relevant to the article with proper captions. All good.
Refs
- Earwig's down... shall wait.
- Reference checks: 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 15. All good.
Misc
- No ongoing edit war, broad enough information, neutral. All good.
