Skin as an organ

Does anyone have information about exactly when skin became officially classified an organ? — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 23:31, 21 September 2024 (UTC)

skin cell size?

"The average human skin cell is about 30 μm in diameter, but there are variants. A skin cell usually ranges from 25 to 40 μm2, depending on a variety of factors."

The μm2 unit doesn't make sense. Should it just be μm? If it's implying μm^2 (area), it is wrong. If a skin cell is 30 μm in diameter and circular and flat, it's area on one side would be 3.14 * 15 * 15 = 706.5 μm^22 76.115.224.214 (talk) 00:53, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
