I propose merging Häme to Tavastia (historical province). A "historical province" is not an administrative unit, but a geographic and cultural region, so the scopes of the two articles are exactly the same. Tavastia is a more developed article, which is why Häme should be merged to it, and not the other way round. However, "Häme" is a more common name (Ngrams:) and more WP:CONCISE, so in the end the resulting article should be moved to Häme. 84.251.164.143 (talk) 04:02, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

Tavastia (historical province) → Häme – As a name, the native Häme is a more common than the Latin Tavastia. Ngrams: Province of Tavastia/Häme, Tavastia/Häme/Tavastland, Tavastia/Häme Province. Häme is also more WP:CONCISE. 84.251.164.143 (talk) 03:17, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
