  • Birth name not cited.
    • Done.
  • "Not to be confused with basketball player and coach James Duncan (basketball)." doesn't seem necessary. They don't even have the same name.
    • Cut.
  • Link running back in early life.
    • Done.
  • "On the football team, he was initially was planned to move from linebacker to strong safety"
    • Cut the first "was".
  • link middle linebacker maybe?
    • Done.
  • "remaining in the top five in school history in tackles as of 2026" he didn't set the school's tackle record did he? You don't have to change anything, just curious.
    • I don't think so. According to Vanderbilt Commodores football statistical leaders someone years earlier had set the record, higher than his total, (although it's interesting that the all-time leading tackler listed played in the early 1980s, since I didn't think tackles were recorded that early.)
  • link NFC Championship Game
    • Done.
  • PFW - spell it out and link
    • Done.
  • Why'd he lose his starting role to Robert Thomas? I thought Duncan was doing good in the NFL, then all of a sudden he became a backup and his career was over.
    • The sources just seem to say his 2002 season was considered a disappointment. I thought it was interesting as well how his career fell like that. I made the article say, However, Duncan's play was considered an underperformance, and he was replaced by Robert Thomas as starting middle linebacker in 2003. After losing his starting role, he was one of the Rams' top tacklers on special teams and served as the special teams captain. (adding that his play was considered an underperformance and also that he was special teams captain, which I had missed previously)
  • Added a cat.

Spot checks

  • Ref 24 looks good.
  • Ref 4 looks good.
  • Ref 60 looks good.
  • Ref 40 looks good.
