Is Jed short for something?
Jed as in Jed Mercurio (Line Of Duty, The Bodyguard, etc.) is short for Gerald; I've also seen it as a shortened or pet form of both Jeremiah/Jeremy, etc. and Jebediah. 49.185.191.208 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 11:13, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
