Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit semi-protected}} template. That's the name of the article, you need consensus to show that your change should be implemented. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 02:07, 3 December 2025 (UTC)

Jschlatt versus. jschlatt

@Primefac: I don't understand your revert and citation of MOS:STYLIZED, what section exactly makes this exempt from the very first example on MOS:TMRULES? Or different from the consensus reached on this thread in 2018? The spellings here on this very page are mixed, and I believe proper English rules take precedent. The sentence However, if the title of the article is the stylized version of the name (e.g. tvOS), it should be given in the boldfaced title recapitulation ... and used throughout the text. I'm fine having a discussion about the matter with other interested editors though. Primefac (talk) 20:30, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
I see that excerpt clearly now, thank you. I guess it doesn't seem like there's a right answer than, depending on if you construe 'jschlatt' as a brand name, like deadmau5, which was capitalized, or 'J. Schlatt', where proper capitalization would be demanded anyway. My question now is if this sticks lowercase, than should I start an rfc to lowercase Deadmau5 again? Because where tvOS and iPhone have capitalized letters later, jschlatt could be reasonably cased to Jschlatt. I don't know, but still leaning uppercase. Eh... there wasn't a huge amount of participation at the deadmau5 RM. I think if anything that discussion highlights a lack of consistency in the style guides. Might be worth starting a broader discussion clarifying those points and the ones raised here. Primefac (talk) 11:32, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

inaccurate information in the Chuckle Sandwich section

it lists Jontron as an example of one of the prominent guests despite him never collaborating with them. ~2026-51371-3 (talk) 05:53, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

The whole podcasts section needs to be rewritten, with the best thing probably to trim it down to the simplest information (which podcasts, made with XYZ) and supported by reliable sources. Primefac (talk) 11:28, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Name and education from a Regis High School article

I found a 2017 article from the official website of Regis High School that explicitly mentions Schlatt's name as an alumnus/student winning an award for a short film. Here is the link: https://www.regis.org/article?id=5584

I am not entirely sure on including the name (per WP:BLPPRIVACY), but I'd like to hear from other editors, maybe an inclusion of his education as well? ConeKota (talk) 15:47, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

That is a Schlatt, it is not specifically this Schlatt. Primefac (talk) 17:48, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
Look at the photo of the article? That is jschlatt. ConeKota (talk) 19:16, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
That's not how WP:V works. I went to uni with someone who looked exactly like me... to the point where people called us by the other's name on more than one occasion. We currently have no references that state where he went to high school (and even the NYC claim in the infobox appears to be unsourced) so we cannot state that this person is that person.
