- La Tonya Johnson → LaTonya Johnson
- LaTonya Johnson → LaTonya Johnson (basketball player)
– Her profile on the Wisconsin State Senate website, her legislative website, and official voting results from the Wisconsin Elections Commission all refer to her as LaTonya Johnson, without a space. As far as I can tell, the only source on this page which refers to her as "La Tonya Johnson" (with a space) is this one from the New York Times, which leads me to believe this was an error.
Since the target page already exists, I am also proposing that LaTonya Johnson (which currently links to the basketball player of the same name) be moved to "LaTonya Johnson (basketball player)", as it seems like the Wisconsin state senator is more notable. - Support in principle. But unsure whether she is primary topic; if not, move to LaTonya Johnson (politician) and create dabpage at basename. Standard Wikipedia disambiguation for sportspeople would be LaTonya Johnson (basketball), and she should definitely be moved to that as she is definitely not primary. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:48, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- Searching on Google for "latonya johnson" mostly pulls up results about the politician. Checking Google News specifically, the basketball player doesn't show up until page 2 (on Google specifically, I found more results about unrelated people with the same name than I did for the basketball player). The same seems to hold true for DuckDuckGo and Bing. As for pageviews, it looks like the politician generally has more views than the basketball player, although both pages have a relatively low pagecount. Tymewalk (talk) 00:40, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
- Support first to LaTonya Johnson (politician), and support second. Create DAB at basename, no PRIMARY.--Ortizesp (talk) 12:40, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
