Lisa Song Sutton → Lisa Sutton Gunderson – see below Nevada2A (talk) 19:43, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
Disclosure: I am connected to the subject and am posting this as a request for uninvolved editors to evaluate, per the conflict-of-interest guideline.
Since her marriage in October 2024 (already noted in the article), the subject has used Lisa Sutton Gunderson as her professional name. Her official website, lisasongsutton.com, is branded "Lisa Sutton Gunderson" throughout (e.g. its Businesses & Investments page), and her Premiere Speakers Bureau booking page — a third-party source — was updated in October 2026 to the title "Lisa Sutton Gunderson," with the biography identifying her as "Lisa Sutton Gunderson (also known as Lisa Song Sutton)." The article's own lede already reflects the change in part, using the hyphenated "Lisa Song Sutton-Gunderson."
I recognize most pre-2025 reliable coverage uses "Lisa Song Sutton," and that WP:COMMONNAME weighs recognizability; the request is made under WP:NAMECHANGES on the basis that her current, self-consistent professional usage — official site and booking bureau — has shifted to Lisa Sutton Gunderson. If the move is approved, "Lisa Song Sutton" remains as a redirect, and I would also suggest the lede's first sentence be standardized to "Lisa Sutton Gunderson (also known as Lisa Song Sutton)..." to match her stated professional identity. Happy to provide further post-2024 sources if helpful. ~~~~ Nevada2A (talk) 19:43, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
Edit request: real-estate description in Career section
Disclosure: I am connected to the subject; requesting that an uninvolved editor make this change if it meets policy.
The Career section currently reads: "She is a licensed real estate agent, working at Elite Homes - Christie's International Real Estate, which she also co-founded. Her real estate business expanded in February 2022, following the purchase of Engel and Volkers, and is now called Elite Homes - Engel & Volkers."
This is outdated and understates the sourced facts in two ways: (1) the Christie's International Real Estate affiliation ended with the 2022 Engel & Völkers purchase — she is not a current agent "working at" a Christie's affiliate; (2) per the sources already cited in the article (Vegas Inc's 40 Under 40 profile listing "Elite Homes – Engel & Volkers Real Estate" among her companies, and her February 10, 2022 statement "We purchased the Engel & Volkers for Las Vegas and Henderson"), she is the owner of the Las Vegas and Henderson Engel & Völkers brokerages — a fact her official website also states ("Engel & Völkers Las Vegas & Henderson — Luxury real estate brokerage ownership," lisasongsutton.com/company-portfolio/).
Proposed replacement for those two sentences: "Sutton co-founded Elite Homes in Las Vegas. In February 2022 she purchased the Engel & Völkers brokerages for Las Vegas and Henderson, which she owns and operates as Engel & Völkers Las Vegas & Henderson."
The existing citations following the current text (Vegas Inc 40 Under 40; the February 2022 purchase announcement) support the replacement and can be retained. Thank you for considering it.
