It should be noted here that despite everyone saying it was only available as embedded systems, there were still lots of desktop systems (like the siemens pc-d I have in my cellar). it was available with a 80187 fpu and a revolutionary bus system that allowed up to 127 extension cards.. if your case was big enough... and then later I got some 14mb hard drive... ah, those were the times... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.176.232.207 (talk) 19:11, September 10, 2006
IXP?
Shouldn't the Intel IXP product line be listed?
Distinguishing incompatible socket variations
The tables should distinguish e.g. 1151 vs 1151rev2, because although the geometries are the same, the pin wirings are incompatible.
(A potential use of this page is for a reader to lookup a comprehensive list of what potential CPU upgrade options may exist that would be compatible replacements for a particular existing CPU.)

Cyclone family
Lunar Lake omitted?
Why were Lunar Lake CPUs (Core Ultra 7 258v, Core Ultra 5 226v, etc) excluded from this list? Is it because the compute and platform dies were fabbed at TSMC? While true, they were still packaged at Intel using their own base die and Foveros technology. ~2026-14088-5 (talk) 19:28, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
Core ultra 3 205 is missing
