"Erie" should probably be "Eire"
The article says, "Rowntree making Mars Bars in Canada, Erie and South Africa ..." Erie is not a country, nor was it ever. I think this is a typographical error for "Eire" (The Republic of Ireland). This would be three examples of Commonwealth countries at the time. This error was copied from the page cited, but it can't be correct. Canadiana (talk) 07:56, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Chocolate Lentils
There should be a list of lentil candies, and m&m can be on it in the section of the chocolate lentil candies. Also there should be a statement added at the top of this article saying that it's a type of chocolate lentil candy. Erblanchard57 (talk) 00:10, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Patent claim
No verifiable U.S. patent number corresponds to any patent awarded to Forrest Mars for M&Ms. Anyone claiming the contrary can search uspto.gov -- and the web.mit.edu site in the footnote claims he patented it, but does not list a patent number.
