This is awkward: where he found the three renowned mathematicians, Felix Klein, David Hilbert and Hermann Minkowski.

Isn't this straight from the lede? For the 12 years Born and Franck were at Göttingen from 1921 to 1933, Born had a collaborator with shared views on basic scientific concepts — a distinct advantage for teaching and his research on the developing quantum theory. Reword it in one place or the other.

I've always seen Einstein's statement as "God does not play dice with the universe", Never the "Old One" which is likely a direct translation from German.
