Suggestions for Improvement
The current article provides a clear definition of metallophytes and gives several examples of plants but remains quite limited in coverage. Much of the information appears to rely on older sources, and the article emphasizes European examples and that "few Metallophytes are known from Latin America," the latter of which provides no additional useful information. Updating the article with more recent research and examples from additional regions could improve the article greatly. It may also be helpful to expand with sections explaining the ecological role of metallophytes, their mechanisms of heavy-metal tolerance, and how they differ from hyperaccumulator plants. These additions could help improve the article beyond the stub status and provide a clearer overview of the topic.
